WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a deadly shooting and hace identified the victim as 25-year-old John B. Zamora of Kansas City, Kansas.
Just after 3a.m. Friday, police responded to a report of gunshots in 900 Block of Greeley Avenue, according to a media release.
After arriving on scene dispatch advised that a gunshot victim later identified as Zamora was being transported to an area hospital. victim later died of his injuries.
This incident is under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
