SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged child sex crimes.
Just after 11p.m. April 10, 2021, police were dispatched to the 3600 block of E Harry for a sexual assault report, according to Officer Trevor Macy.
A 15-year-old reported being sexually assaulted. After police obtained further evidence, police identified 44-year-old Sean Bird as a suspect.
Just after 6a.m. Tuesday police contacted Bird in the 6100 block of S. Kansas in Wichita and took him into custody. He was transported to the Sedgwick County Jail and booked on three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
