BUNKER HILL — Smoky Hills PBS is pleased to announce that it has received a $2,500 donation from the Sarver Charitable Trust to support children’s skill books and PBS KIDS programming in Osborne County.

This generous contribution will help provide educational resources and programming that foster literacy and lifelong learning for children within our viewing area.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Sarver Charitable Trust for their support of our mission,” said Betsy Schwien, general manager of Smoky Hills PBS.

“This donation will allow us to provide skill-building books and PBS KIDS programming that help children in Osborne County grow and develop critical educational skills. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of young learners.”

PBS KIDS programming on Smoky Hills PBS offers trusted, high-quality educational content designed to help children build foundational skills in reading, math, and social-emotional learning. The station’s children’s initiatives, including the distribution of skill books, extend these learning opportunities into homes and communities, empowering families to support their children’s education.

With the support of the Sarver Charitable Trust, Smoky Hills PBS continues to inspire and educate children across central and western Kansas.
