Kan. woman jailed after deputy smells marijuana coming from home

BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a woman on drug charges after the search of her residence.

On July 17 while on official duty, a sheriff's deputy identified the odor of  burnt marijuana coming from inside a residence in Horton, according to Brown County Sheriff John Merchant.

The resident granted a consent search which resulted in the arrest of Anna Kaler, 35 Horton on requested charges of Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
