
SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement continue investigating a bank robbery in Topeka and have released security camera images of the suspect.

Just before 5p.m. January 13, a suspect, described as a black male, 5-foot-10 inches tall, approximately 200-215 pounds and wearing a black jacket with a hood, dark colored jeans, dark colored tennis shoes and a face covering, entered Equity Bank, 3825 SW 29th Street in Topeka, according to a media release from the FBI.
The suspect approached the teller and made a verbal demand for money and brandished a firearm.
The suspect fled the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries.
