Sheriff: 2 Kansas men caught with meth and a weapon

OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on multiple allegations after a traffic stop.

Just after 11:30p.m. May 27, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop at milepost 157 on Interstate 35 in Osage County for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.  During the stop, illegal narcotics and a weapon were located. Two subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility.

Jon B. Reed, 38, of Lyndon was booked on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Driving while suspended, No Vehicle liability insurance, Operate vehicle without registration or w/ expired tag and Vehicles; Display of license plates.

Seth A. Landie, 44, of Lyndon was booked on requested charges of  Criminal possession of weapon by felon.
