Sheriff: Kan. woman accused of hiding evidence during traffic stop

JACKSON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

Just after 9:30p.m. Jan. 23, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Nissan Altima for an alleged traffic violation on 150th Road near Q. Road, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Brandon Michael Oliver, 39, and Amberle Clare Harrington, 33, both of Topeka.

After a probable cause search of the vehicle, Oliver and Harrington were arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail.  Oliver was booked on requested charges of possession of cocaine, possession of THC, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container and driving while suspended.

Harrington was booked into jail on requested charges of possession of cocaine, possession of THC, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement conceal/alter/destroy evidence.
