SEDGWICK COUNTY— A Kansas man died in an accident just after 1a.m. Tuesday in Sedgwick County.

A Toyota Avalon driven by 29-year-old Andrew Ornelas, Wichita, was eastbound on 21st at Amidon, according to Officer Chad Ditch.

The driver lost control of the vehicle. It collided with pole, flipped and and Ornelas was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries occurred. Speed and alcohol are believed to be a factor, according to Ditch. The accident remains under investigation.
