JOHNSON COUNTY —Police are conducting a homicide investigation in Olathe.
Just after 11a.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Persimmon Drive in Olathe to check the welfare of a woman, according to Officer Sean Wilkes.
At the home, first responders found a 75-year-old woman deceased inside the residence. The circumstances surrounding her death are under investigation. Police have not reported the name of the victim or other details.
