WYDOTTE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 1a.m. Thursday in Wyandotte County.
According to Kansas City, Kansas, police a vehicle was eastbound on Interstate 70 just before the 18th St Expressway exit.
The vehicle left the roadway struck an object and caught fire. Kansas City Kansas Fire responded to the scene and the driver was pronounced deceased.
Police released no additional details.
