SALINE COUNTY —A Kansas man is back in jail after his third arrest in less than a year.

In June of 2022,  David Boeschling, 24, Minneapolis was accused of taking $500 in cash from a video game at The Alley, 115 E. Ash Street, in Salina. Police arrested him on theft and drug charges.

In October, Boeschling was in jail on a warrant for failure to appear and requested drug and weapons charges, after police found him with  a 9mm Canik in the parking lot of a Salina mote.

Just after 6p.m. Sunday, police responded to multiple alarms in a storage building at 1007 W. North Street in Salina, according to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester.

Officers observed a white male wearing a blue hooded jacket, hat, and backpack running through the building. When the officers went around the building, they saw the man later identified as Boeschling standing in a tree line west of the building.

Police arrested him on requested charges of Trespassing, Interference with a law enforcement officer, Possession of methamphetamine and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
