PHILLIPSBURG - The Norton boys and girls won the Mid-Continent League cross country meet Thursday in Phillipsburg.
MCL/Phillipsburg Invitational Results
The Ellis boys finished third and TMP-Marian fourth. The Monarch girls finished third and the Railers were fourth.
Trego's Wyndom Giefer won the boys race by 18 seconds over Hoxie's Gabriel Friess. Samuel Pyle of Ellis finished third and Chayse McCullough of Plainville was fourth.
Sophomore Braydon Binder was the top
TMP-Marian runner finishing in 20th place.
Emily Diercks of Hoxie won the girls race. Ellis’ Madi Russell was fourth.
TMP-Marian's Sophie Allen and Abby Rueschhoff finished eighth and ninth respectively.
