SALINE COUNTY —Two people avoided serious injures after an accident on icy roads in Saline County.
According to Saline County Sheriff's Operations Captain Jim Hughes, the single vehicle accident occurred just before 5p.m. in the 5700 block of S. Burma.
Investigators determined the vehicle was traveling too fast for conditions, slid off the road and landed on it top in a creek. Two occupants complained of minor “aches and pains” and denied EMS assistance.
