
KANSAS CITY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Kansas City.
Just before 5p.m. Tuesday, crews responded to a reported house fire in the 900 block of Cleveland, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
First responders reported heavy fire showing from the two-story home.

After several minutes of operations command had all crews evacuate the structure and commenced defensive operations from the exterior. After gaining control during defensive operations, interior operations resumed.
Searches of the structure came back all clear. Occupants had evacuated. Fire was placed under control at 5:17p.m. Red Cross responded for 3 adults. There were no injuries reported.
