KANSAS CITY —One person died in an accident just before 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in Kansas City.
A Suzuki Reno was eastbound on MO 210 Highway at N Kimball Drive, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
The vehicle traveled off the roadway to the left and struck a large concrete traffic signal pole. The driver was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Gonzalez. Police have not released the names of the victims.
