
JOHNSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a theft involving electronics and asking for help to ID suspects.
The Overland Park Police Department requests public assistance in the identification of individuals suspected of committing felony theft from a retail establishment in Overland Park, according to Officer John Lacy.

Just after 4p.m. May 17, two suspects entered a retail establishment located near the intersection of W. 115th and Metcalf Avenue, The two individuals selected nine laptop computers and left without paying.
One suspect is described as a Black male, estimated to be in his late 20s, and was observed wearing a gray hat, a dark sweatshirt, and gray sweatpants and had a tattoo on his neck.

The second is described as a white male, approximately 30 years of age, and was observed wearing a black hat, a black jacket, black pants, and black and white Nike brand shoes. The suspects were observed departing the business in a gold-colored Chevrolet Equinox. The vehicle’s license plate was obscured by a white plastic shopping bag.
