
KANSAS CITY —A juvenile injured in an accident just after 9:30p.m. Wednesday in Kansas City has died.
The juvenile identified Monday as 16-year-old Alexander Robinson was walking in the construction zone next to the #2 lane of southbound Interstate 29, according to Officer Corey Lisle.
Just past the bridge that crosses over NW 72nd Street, a southbound semi struck Robinson who died on Sunday, according to Lisle.
The semi-truck failed to stop and left the scene and continues southbound. EMS transported the Robinson to a local hospital in critical condition. Police have released no additional details as they continue to investigate.
