KANSAS CITY — It was busy night for first responders at the Kenney Chesney Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour at Arrowhead Stadium Saturday night.
Country music fans were allowed into the stadium at 2 p.m. and the concert started at 5 p.m. Three hours in the heat made it difficult for some.
Emergency crews responded to 107 calls for service during the concert according to KC Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
All but 4 of those calls were handled by on-site staff. Four patients were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The calls for service included heat related issues and intoxication and with various other ailments.
