
SEDGWICK COUNTY —Police have made a second arrest in the investigation into the Dec. 27, home invasion shooting in the 100 block of North Ash Wichita that left one man dead and another injured.
On January 15, 39-year-old Andre Bryant was taken into custody and booked into the Sedgwick County Jail, according to a media release from Wichita Police. He made his first court appearance and has been charged with felony murder, aggravated murder, aggravated battery, attempted second-degree murder, aggravated burglary, and felon in possession of a firearm.

Just before 8:30p.m. on December 27, police responded to the home on North Ash and found a 52-year-old man and a 67-year-old man inside the home with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a hospital. The 52-year-old later died. The 67-year-old man underwent surgery, was released from the hospital and is recovering.
A neighbor, identified as 54-year-old Matthew Morgan, was previously arrested and booked into the Sedgwick County Jail and was charged with second-degree reckless murder.
Bryant is due back in court next month, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
