Just after 9:30p.m. June 4, Sedgwick County Emergency Communications received a 911 call reporting a shooting in the 4800 block of East Funston.

First responders found Gordon suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary findings suggest that Gordon was involved in an argument with another individual when the shooting occurred, indicating that this was not a random act of violence, according to Wichita Police Captain Aaron Moses.

On June 6, police asked for help to locate Anjaliyah S. Orange and Walker as they may have information about the homicide. On June 12, Wichita Police Homicide investigators arrested Walker.
