
SEWARD COUNTY —Authorities are investigating a small plane mishap that occurred just after 1:30p.m. Monday in Seward County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Cessna 2100 piloted by Braxon G. Blackwood, 20, Sublette, was coming in for landing at Liberal Mid-America Regional Airport. The pilot was unsure if the landing gear was deployed and landed on the belly of the aircraft on the runway.
Blackwood was not injured. The FAA and NTSB will be in charge of the investigation.
