Police: Kansas man allegedly sold meth near school

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on Drug allegations.

On Friday, the Topeka Police Department Narcotics Unit and Shawnee County Drug Task Force served a search warrant in the 1900 Block of SE Illinois Avenue in Topeka, according to Lt. Ronnie Connell.

While conducting the search warrant, officers located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

As a result 53-year-old Lloyd Townsend and 33-year-old Sean Coble were transported to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.

Townsend is being held on requested charges that include Distribution of methamphetamine within 1000’ of a school and Possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute within 1000’ of a school

Sean Coble is jailed on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
