Police raid multiple Kan. convenience store vape shops

JOHNSON COUNTY —Police and state revenue agents raided multiple convenience store during an investigation earlier this month.

On March 7, the Olathe Police Department, with the assistance of the Kansas Department of Revenue, conducted warrant services at four separate gas stations/vape shops within the City of Olathe, according to Olathe Police Sergeant John Moncayo reported on Tuesday.

The warrant services were due to alleged sales of illegal THC products. As a result, multiple alleged THC products were seized from all four locations. The items seized will be sent to the Johnson County Crime Lab for testing.  Criminal charges are pending the results of the testing.
