
SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal shooting at a home in Wichita.
Just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a shooting call at a home in the 2100 block of South Erie in Wichita, according to Officer Charley Davidson. Upon arrival, officers located two victims, a 38-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man who had been shot. Both were pronounced deceased on the scene.
The investigation revealed a resident of the home found the victims shot and called the police.
This was not a random incident and is believed to involve illegal and dangerous drugs. The victims were known to frequent the home. Police have not released the names of the victims.
