STEVENS COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 8:30p.m. Wednesday in Stevens County.
The Hugoton Police Department reported a 2018 Yamaha motorcycle driven by David Thomas, 19, Hugoton, and a 2015 Lincoln Navigator driven by Linda Hittle, 79, Hutoton, were involved in an accident at 11th and Madison Street in the city of Hugoton, according to a media release.
Thomas was transported to the Stevens County hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Hittle was not injured. The accident remains under investigation.
