SHAWNEE COUNTY —A child is recovering from a injuries after an incident that occurred Monday in rural Shawnee County.
Just after 1p.m., the Shawnee County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call regarding a 10-year-old child that fell from a second story window, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
American Medical Response transported the child to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The sheriff's office reported no additional details.
