GRAY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 10a.m. Monday in Gray County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Dodge pickup driven by Tyson E. Good, 38, Montezuma, was southbound on 15 Road at County Road DD a mile and one half south of U.S. 56.
A 2004 Cadillac SUV driven by James G. Brucker, 74, Syracuse, was eastbound on County Road DD. The vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.
EMS transported Brucker to St. Catherine's Hospital in Garden City where he was pronounced deceased. Good and a passenger in the pickup were not injured. The KHP had incomplete seat belt usage information.
