
KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement investigating a series of bank robberies have a suspect on custody. On October 24, police arrested 24-year-old Weston R. Womack, of Kansas City, according to a statement from the FBI.

He has been charged with multiple counts of bank robbery in the Western District of Missouri. The charges are for alleged bank robberies that occurred on October 22nd and October 23rd in Kansas City and Gladstone, Missouri.
This investigation was conducted by the KCPD Career Criminal Task Force and the FBI’s Metro Kansas City Violent Crime Task Force. Significant assistance was provided by Gladstone Police.
