FINNEY COUNTY —After more than four years of loyal service, K9 Koda retired on Monday from the Garden City Police Department, according to media release from the department.

Acquired in 2021, K9 Koda dutifully served Garden City as a dual-purpose dog trained for patrol deployments and narcotics detection and was proudly partnered with Officer Cody Wilson.

Koda will spend retirement with Officer Wilson, trading in patrol shifts for endless belly rubs, treats and naps he deserves. Salute to K9 Koda for his loyal service and protecting our Officers and helping keep the community safe!
