Woman with no license caught driving 100mph on Kan. highway

BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement in Kansas are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a traffic stop arrest.

Just before 10p.m. April 10, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling over 100mph on U.S. 36 near mile marker 356, according to Sheriff John Merchant. 

After investigating, the deputy arrested 29-year-old Chelsea Cohara of St. Joseph, Missouri on requested charges of Felony DUI, Driving While License Cancelled, Suspended or Revoked, Transporting Open Container, Speeding  and No Proof of Insurance.  She remains in custody, according to online jail records.
