KANSAS CITY —One person died in an accident just after 1:30a.m. Sunday in Kansas City.
A red and white Honda 450R was southbound on Grand Boulevard near 22nd Street at a high rate of speed, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
The motorcycle traveled off the roadway to the right, collided with a street light pole, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the Honda, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Gonzalez. The name of the victim has not been released.
