SHAWNEE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 3p.m. Friday in Shawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz driven by Travis Coledin Moore, 18, Kendall, Kansas, was southbound on U.S. 75 just north of 35th Street.
The Hyundai struck a southbound 2021 Kia Soul driven by Matthew Andrew Tetuan, 35, Topeka. After impact the Kia and the Hyundia struck a southbound 2014 Ford Edge driven by Judson Timothy Williams, 25, Hoyt, who was stopped in traffic.
EMS transported Tetuan to Stormont Vail where he died. Moore, Williams and passengers in their vehicles were not injured. All were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
