ELLSWORTH – The TMP-Marian boys golf team brought home a second-place finish from the Ellsworth Invitational Tournament on Thursday.
The Monarchs were led by Heuer Brungardt with a fourth-place finish. He fired a eight-over 78.
As a team the Monarchs combined for 358.
Ellinwood won the tournament with a combined score of 319.
Hoisington was third followed by Beloit and Russell.
TMP’s Griffin Schumacher finished 10th with an 89. Peyton Schwartz finished with a 91 and was 12th.
Evan Balthazor scored an even 100 and finished tied for 22nd.
Russell’s Jake Mooney won the tournament with a two-over 72.
