Hays High won the 42nd annual Western Plains Diamond Classic with a 3-1 record. Manhattan had the same record. Due to Hays beating Manhattan 4-3 in nine innings, the championship was awarded to Hays High.
Hays High's Cooper Sanders was named tournament MVP.
