LINN COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 7:30a.m. Wednesday in Linn County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1992 Ford F150 driven by Denver Lee Reagan, Jr. 45, Blue Mound, was southbound on Kansas 7 six miles south of Mound City.
The pickup crossed the center line and struck a 1977 Kenworth semi driven by Tom Ray Snyder, 67, Fulton, Kansas, head-on. After impact, the pickup came to rest in the south ditch and caught fire.
Reagan was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. Snyder was not injured. The KHP had incomplete seat belt usage information.
