KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State runner Faith Little was named the MIAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Little delivered a standout performance at the Alex Francis Classic, triumphing in the open 800-meter run. With unwavering determination, she surged past her competitors, crossing the finish line in a time of 2:19.25. Leading the pack of 12 participants, Little showcased her dominance, solidifying her status as a formidable force on the track. Her victory earned her MIAA's Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week to round out the outdoor season.

Liberty Booker found herself on the notable performances as she threw a pair of personal bests, including one provisional qualifying mark at the Alex Francis Classic. Securing victory in the hammer throw with a remarkable distance of 175-4.0, she outshone a field of 27 competitors, her performance earning her an NCAA provisional status and placing her 26th on the national DII performance list. Additionally, Booker demonstrated her versatility by clinching second place in the shot put, achieving a commendable distance of 43 feet, 3.25 inches, amidst a competitive field of 21 participants.
