Hays High school record holder Isaac Smith has signed a letter of intent to swim for Sterling College. Along side his family and in front of teammates and school friends, Smith inked the paper on Tuesday in the Hays High cafeteria.
Swimming on the collegiate level became a realization for Smith as a 13 or 14 year old and is excited to have the stress of finding a college over with.
The swimming team is in the early part of the season. The multi-event swimmer enjoys swimming the 100 butterfly, 50 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke most.
