Suspect in series of Missouri burglaries jailed in Kansas

St. Joseph police say a person now being held on a burglary warrant in Johnson County, Kansas is a suspect in the downtown St. Joseph burglaries March 10th.

The St. Joseph Police Department says 42-year-old Joshua Littrell is a suspect in the break-ins of three downtown St. Joseph stores on the 10th as well as the Mark’s Tire and Automotive burglary.

Littrell is being held in the Johnson County, Kansas Adult Detention Center on a burglary warrant from Mission, Kansas.

Littrell is also suspected in four active burglary cases under investigation by the Kansas City Police Department. In addition, Ray County, Missouri authorities have an additional burglary case pending against him.

The department says they are working closely with law enforcement in Missouri and Kansas to coordinate the investigation and prosecution of these cases.  Littrell is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, according to online jail records.
