Foundation Grants Awarded
The Heartland Community Foundation has awarded grants to three non-profit organizations. The recipients include Coronado Area Council Boy Scouts of America; The Ellis County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and the Hays Area Children’s Center.
The Boy Scouts plan to use the grant to help purchase a trailer to transport scout equipment. The Red Cross will use the funds to purchase Ham Radio Licensing Manuals. The Children’s Center will use the grant to purchase developmentally appropriate books for small children.
The grants are awarded annually.
