Hays Police Department
The Hays Police Department Special Situation Response Team will be conducting training in high-risk building entry on Thursday, May 2 between 1 and 7 p.m. This training will take place at 1011 Fort St.
Police officers will be training with special tactical equipment. This training is being done with great care and safety.
If in that area, you may see law enforcement officers move through your vicinity. There is no need to be alarmed. The officers are merely conducting a realistic training exercise and there is no danger to the community.
