After dropping out of the weekly coaches rankings the TMP-Marian baseball team is back among top 10 teams in 2-1A this week.
The Monarchs are ranked 5th this week with a 14-6 record.
They jumped into the polls, for the first time, April 8th at No. 10 after a 6-2 start.
The next week they moved up five spots to fifth but dropped out of the polls the next week after suffering four straight losses to state ranked teams.
Since then they have won four straight, including handing previous No. 1 Sacred Heart their first losses of the season, in a doubleheader sweep on Monday.
The Monarchs will take on Hays High Thursday in the first game of the Hays Diamond Classic.
They are then scheduled to face Brush, Colorado, Manhattan and Life Prep in the Hays tournament before wrapping up the regular season at Garden City.
