GREAT BEND – The Hays High boys golf team finishes third at the Great Bend Invitational Monday at the Lake Barton Golf Course. The Indians shot a 331 and finished one shot back of second-place Garden City and 13 back of first place Dodge City.
Cooper Johnson fired an 8-over-par 78 and finished in fifth place. Trey Oakley was seventh with an 83. Caleb Thompson just missed a top-10 finish with an 84 and Mason Simons shot an 86.
Dodge City’s Grayden Gamblin won the individual title with a 6-over-par 76.
